Lindsey N. McCulley, Esq.

Lindsey McCulley joined Salsbury Sullivan, LLC in 2022.  Prior to joining the firm, Lindsey was an Assistant United States Attorney for the District of Maryland.  As an AUSA, she was responsible for investigations and prosecutions of cases involving robberies, carjackings, drug trafficking, firearm trafficking, firearm possession, RICO, wire fraud, and other federal offenses.  She led numerous investigations involving Title III wiretaps and represented the United States in hundreds of criminal proceedings before the judges of the U.S. District Court for the District of Maryland.  

Before working as an AUSA in Baltimore, Lindsey was an associate in the litigation group at a law firm in Baltimore.  There she gained experience working on various complex civil litigation matters and engaged in all stages of discovery and trial—she took and defended depositions, drafted and argued dispositive motions before Maryland district and circuit courts, and participated in many settlement conferences.

Lindsey also served as a judicial clerk on both the federal and state level.  From 2012-2013, she clerked for the Honorable Robert A. Zarnoch of the Maryland Court of Special Appeals (now the Appellate Court of Maryland).  From 2014-2015, Lindsey clerked for the Honorable George J. Hazel of the U.S. District Court for the District of Maryland.

Lindsey graduated magna cum laude from the University of Maryland Francis King Carey School of Law in 2012.   While in law school, Lindsey was a Notes and Comments Editor of the Maryland Law Review.  She was also a member of the National Trial Team where her team competed in numerous regional and national competitions, and she was both a regional champion and national finalist.  Lindsey was inducted into the Order of the Coif and Order of the Barristers upon graduation.  Lindsey also graduated magna cum laude in 2009 from Juniata College located in Huntingdon, Pennsylvania.

Lindsey is a former President of the Maryland Francis King Carey School of Law Alumni Board and a current member of the School’s Board of Visitors.  She has also been involved in Maryland law’s National Trial Team since graduating.  She has continuously coached the students on the team and was the Co-Director and adjunct professor for the team from 2017-2020.

Lindsey is a central-Pennsylvania native but has called Maryland home since 2009.  She lives in Ellicott City with her husband and two sons.
